|We are coming home!!!
Cherie's Update From Rochester 08/22/2012 9:58pm
We had our exit appointments today, and tomorrow we are on a plane to Texas! It is hard to believe, we will be in our own home late tomorrow evening.
We met with our hematologist today, who we have not seen in about 3 weeks. We were so thankful, when she looked at Paul's blood counts and commented, "Look at those platelets. That's amazing!" After further looking at his lab results, she said that "the transplant did exactly what it was supposed to do!" Thank you, Lord Jesus! Paul gave everyone in the room fist bumps!
I told Paul that I just didn't know what to write tonight, because really, how do you put into words what you all have meant to us? And how can I even begin to express my joy and thankfulness for what God has done, for Who he is?
This verse stood out to Paul and to me:
This is the picture that we took outside our window the night of the Gib back benefit. What a remarkable reminder of how God did "exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think."
But as for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more.
My mouth will tell of your righteousness, of your salvation all day long, though I know not its measure. Psalm 71:14-15
WE LOVE YOU, Cherie
